Cherry Tree Lodge retains much of the charm and character from its origins as three family homes. There are high ceilings and large windows in many rooms, and original features throughout the home including an imposing staircase, stained glass windows and numerous wall art plaques. This backdrop provides a wonderful setting for residents to receive care in and enjoy their retirement.

Dining Room

The spacious dining room has been tastefully decorated and provides a welcoming environment for residents to enjoy meals together. Original features, including an ornamental ceiling centre, along with chandeliers, wall lights and hand picked art work add to the atmosphere for dining in this room


There is a large lounge where residents can choose to socialise, watch television or find space for individual activities such as reading, games and puzzles.


The lounge leads into a conservatory which provides light and airy environment for residents to relax in. Patio doors from the conservatory open straight onto the well maintained garden at the front of the home.


Cherry Tree Lodge has a well maintained garden at the front of the house for residents to enjoy and relax in. A seating area near the pond provides a peaceful retreat for residents. There is a large gazebo in the garden throughout the better half of the year, where residents can enjoy the fresh air but remain sheltered. Seating is also available around the lawned area which is surrounded by trees and planted borders.

There is a small vegetable garden at the back of the home where any green-fingered residents can choose to help out if they wish.

Hair Salon

There is a purposely designed hair salon where residents can enjoy appointments which are arranged for them by staff. The hairdressing service is included in the costs of the care at the home.


Bath/Shower Room

There is a light, modern bathroom with appropriate aides for staff to assist residents to access the bath. There is also a walk in shower which is easily accessible for residents.
